About Me

I am a certified Yoga Instructor experienced in teaching Hatha and Vinyasa Yoga. 

 

Discovering Yoga
I discovered Yoga by coincidence in my late teens. At the time I was looking for a sport that would help to reduce my back pain and would differ from the "classical" sports we practiced in school.

Not knowing what I was getting myself into, I joined my first Yoga lesson. After attending a couple of Yoga classes I started to realise the physical benefits, getting more in shape and especially getting rid of my stubborn back pain.

Living and working in different parts of the world I kept my Yoga practice as an integral part of my life.

For the mind

Whilst at the beginning Yoga for me has been only a "physical" practice, I started to realise it's benefits on the mind. 

Having loved ones in my environment struggling with mental health issues I have always been aware of the importance of the mind on the well-being.
Yoga became a way to connect with myself and helped me finding inner peace no matter how stormy it has been in my life.

Human connection
Working in a corporate environment there were instances where I was missing the true human values in the everyday life. I came across a society where some people would define their worth by job titles, power and money.  
In Yoga I rediscovered true and honest connection between humans, disregarding their background, gender and social status.
I met people without masks on that were  sharing their time energy on their path.

Teaching Yoga

When pandemic hit in 2020 I decided to continue on the Yogic path and learn more about the origins of Yoga. My goal is to share this knowledge with others.  After completing my YYT-200 in early 2022 I started to teach classes outdoors and online and now in 2023 also in a Studio in Zurich.
